MURRAY, Ky. — The University of Central Arkansas women’s golf team led wire to wire in winning the Murray State Lady Racer Classic on Tuesday (March 6) at Miller Memorial Golf Club.

Senior Christina Lecuyer was the individual medalist after shooting 76-76 — 152. Sophomore teammate Nicole Forshner was runnerup with rounds of 79-78 — 157.

UCA’s team score for the two rounds was 316-322 — 638, good for a 15-stroke margin. Tennessee Tech was next at 653, followed by Butler University (662), Indiana State (664), Murray State (666), Rend Lake Community College (711), Tennessee State (750) and Chicago State (826).

UCA’s other scores included Rebecca Sorensen at 78-84 — 162 (tied for 6th), Jessica Ross at 87-84 — 171 (24th) and Sanna Vihervaara at 83-90 — 173 (27th).
