PADUCAH, Ky. — The Unviersity of Central Arkansas tennis team lost 4-3 to Lipscomb in a grueling match on Saturday evening. The Sugar Bears (0-4) took the doubles point, but managed just two wins in singles play against the Lady Bisons (3-4).

The team of freshman Petra Keilova and junior Charissa Colclough defeated LU's Erin Moakler and Raphaela Jann 8-4 at number one doubles. The sophomore tandem of Rebecca Miller and Jenny Paine won at number two doubles 8-5 against Emily Ellis and Olivia Ellis.

Keilova also won her number one singles matchup against Jann by the score of 6-2, 6-3. Paine finished the weekend with 3-1 mark by downing Olivia Ellis 6-1, 6-4 in number four singles.

The Sugar Bears will kick off Southland Conference play against Northwestern State on Friday, March 2, in Natchitoches, La.
