FRISCO, Texas — The Southland Conference Aeropostale Women's Golf Player of the Week was named today (Thursday, March 8) by the conference office. Southland newcomer Central Arkansas continues to make strides in conference play with its third women's player of the week honor, with Christina Lecuyer taking her second straight award of the 2007 season.

Lecuyer, a senior from Edmonton, Alberta, was medalist by five strokes at the Murray State Lady Racer Classic with with rounds of 76-76-152, edging teammate Nicole Forshner for first, and also won her second straight tournament. She led UCA to a team title as well (316-322 — 638), winning by 15 strokes.
